Our platform is designed to detect and optimize for AI agent traffic — automated requests from AI systems like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and Copilot. The vast majority of data we process is machine-generated traffic signals, not personal information about human individuals.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a dashboard account, we collect your business email address, company name, and website domain. This information is used solely to provide and manage your account.

AI Agent Traffic Data

Our edge worker processes HTTP request metadata from AI agents visiting your website, including user-agent strings, request headers, IP address ranges, URL paths, and behavioral signals such as navigation patterns and request timing. This data represents machine-to-machine traffic — automated requests from AI systems, not browsing activity from human individuals.

Usage Data

We collect standard usage data about how you interact with the Inception Agents dashboard, including pages visited, features used, and session duration. This helps us improve the product experience.

Website Analytics

This marketing website uses privacy-first analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that do not use cookies and do not track individual visitors across sites. We collect aggregate page view and performance metrics only.

3. What We Don't Collect

This distinction is central to how our platform works:

• We do not collect personal information about your website's human visitors. Our edge worker identifies AI agent traffic and lets human traffic pass through completely unmodified with zero latency impact.
• We do not track, fingerprint, or profile human end-users in any way.
• We do not place tracking cookies on your visitors' browsers.
• We do not collect personal browsing history, purchase behavior, or demographic data of any individual.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Inception Agents platform
• Detect and classify AI agent traffic visiting your website
• Generate analytics and visibility scores for your dashboard
• Optimize content served to AI agents based on learned performance signals
• Send you product updates, security notifications, and billing communications

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Period.

Our platform includes a network-level learning feature that aggregates anonymized, privacy-preserving signals across customers to improve agent detection and content optimization for everyone. This aggregation uses only signals from publicly sourced content. Internal knowledge base content uploaded by customers is never included in network-level aggregation — it remains strictly tenant-private.

We may share information with:

• Infrastructure providers — Cloudflare (edge hosting), Supabase (database), and Anthropic (AI processing) as necessary to operate the Service
• Legal requirements — When required by law, subpoena, or legal process

6. Data Security

We take data security seriously. Our platform is built with security as a foundational principle:

• All data is tenant-scoped with row-level security policies — your data is isolated from other customers at the database level
• Edge processing runs on Cloudflare's global network with encryption in transit
• Authentication is handled via industry-standard protocols with secure session management
• Internal knowledge base content is never shared across tenant boundaries

7. Data Retention

We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Agent traffic data and analytics are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely. Upon account deletion, we remove your data from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — request a copy of the information we hold about your account
• Correct your data — update inaccurate account information
• Delete your data — request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your data — receive your data in a portable format

9. Cookies

Our marketing website (inceptionagents.com) does not use cookies for tracking or analytics.

The Inception Agents dashboard (dashboard.inceptionagents.com) uses essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics cookies anywhere on our platform.
